Over the course of the three days, six of the teens that are working the weekend give talks. The talks are personal testimonies of the struggles these teenagers have faced and how God has worked in and through their lives.
TALK #1 - WHO AM I?
-The purpose of the Who Am I? talk is to share who you are through revealing stories and experiences that have been meaningful to you and have helped you to become who you are today. This talk should help the Candidates share who they are with the members at their table.
TALK #2 - WHO AM I IN RELATIONSHIP TO GOD?
-The purpose of this talk is to share with the Candidates your faith journey.
TALK #3 - GOD IS LOVE
-The purpose of this talk is to help the Candidates understand that we were created to be in fellowship with God and that His love for us does not depend on our feelings or actions.
TALK #4 - EASTER MYSTERY
TALK #5 - RESPONDING TO GODS LOVE
-Absolutely everything in life revolves around God, what He's all about, and what his love means to my life, and your life.
TALK #6 - NEED FOR COMMUNITY
-The purpose of this talk is to stress the importance of consistent participation it a Christian community - a group with whom we can talk openly about our struggles and joys in the Christian walk.
TALK #7 - WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
-The purpose of this talk is to help the candidates understand that our Christian witness involves not only the things we say, but our actions as well.
TALK #8 - CHRISTIANS CALLED TO ACTION
The purpose of this talk is to help us see that we are now to be apostles. Messengers of Christ's love to our communities and our world.
